From the edger work screen, select the cleaning menu, then choose door cleaning or module-and-trough cleaning. Door cleaning opens the door for manual wiping; module-and-trough cleaning closes the door and runs automatically.

The machine provides separate cleaning functions for the door and for the GMD module and trough.
- Open the cleaning menu from the edger work screen.
- For the door, press the door-cleaning control.
- Wait for the module to move and the door to open.
- Clean the inside of the door with a cloth.
- For the module and trough, select the module-cleaning control.
- Allow the door to close and the automatic cleaning cycle to finish.
The high-base and Step bevel wheels are treated differently: once disassembled and outside the trough, they may be cleaned with a white-vinegar anti-scale solution. The manual also states that no additive should be put in the edger tank, so the automatic cleaning cycle is not a reason to add a cleaning chemical to the water.
