The autotest menu is a self-diagnosis tool for job functions, not a general maintenance-history screen. It provides separate tests for mechanical, transfer, door and water functions.
- From the work screen, open the edger autotest menu.
- Select the test to perform.
- Press the start control to begin the test cycle.
- Read the result shown beside the test icon.
- If a malfunction is detected, read the description in the message box.
Available tests include lens-shaft initialization and rotation, reproducer raising and lowering, right and left feeler movement, shaft closing, wheel rotation, GMD-module rotation and movement, transfer initialization, door operation, and water tests for trough and door spraying.
