How do I run an autotest on the Essilor Mr Blue 2.0?

The answer

From the work screen, select the autotest function, choose the component to test and press start. The result identifies whether the equipment is operational or displays a malfunction description in the message box.

The autotest menu is a self-diagnosis tool for job functions, not a general maintenance-history screen. It provides separate tests for mechanical, transfer, door and water functions.

  1. From the work screen, open the edger autotest menu.
  2. Select the test to perform.
  3. Press the start control to begin the test cycle.
  4. Read the result shown beside the test icon.
  5. If a malfunction is detected, read the description in the message box.

Available tests include lens-shaft initialization and rotation, reproducer raising and lowering, right and left feeler movement, shaft closing, wheel rotation, GMD-module rotation and movement, transfer initialization, door operation, and water tests for trough and door spraying.
