Measure the step side with a slide caliper, enter the correction for each material, copy the correction through the column, then perform a retouch with a 5 mm size reduction. A measured value of 0.8 mm against an expected 1 mm requires a +0.2 correction.

The Step bevel adjustment is based on the difference between the expected and measured thickness. A positive correction makes the step thickness larger; a negative correction makes it smaller.
- Use a slide caliper to measure the thickness of the step side.
- Compare the result with the expected value.
- Enter the corrective measure in the appropriate material column.
- Copy the same correction into all lines of that column.
- Return to the work screen.
- Perform a retouch using a size reduction of 5 mm.
