For automatic grooving, the machine starts with a groove depth of 0.60 mm and a width of 0.60 mm. These are defaults, not the only values available.

SettingDefaultMinimumMaximum
Depth0.60 mm0.20 mm1.20 mm
Width0.60 mm0.60 mm1.20 mm

If both dimensions are to be below the normal default, the manual specifically says to define the groove directly on the screen. In customized grooving, the width and depth can also be changed after selecting the customized groove type. The permitted adjustment step is 0.05 mm.
