Line Scan initially uses a scan length of 6.0mm. It scans from the given start point to the end point in steps determined by the selected resolution.

Line Scan follows the line connecting the specified start and end coordinates. The scan advances along that line by a step divided according to the given resolution.
- Initial scan length:
6.0mm. - Path: the line joining the given start point and end point.
- Direction: move from the start point to the end point.
This is different from Cross Scan, whose 6.0mm scan length is fixed, and from 3D Scan, whose initial scan area is 6.0×6.0mm. If a line scan does not cover the expected retinal feature, check the start and end coordinates and the selected scan length rather than treating it as a USB or analysis error.
