Can I change Volume Scale or B-Scan Scale while analyzing on the Topcon 3D OCT-2000?

The answer

No. During analysis, do not change Volume Scale or B-Scan Scale in Display under Options; the manual warns that changing either setting can affect operation.

The restriction applies specifically while analyzing, not necessarily to every moment the program is open. The relevant controls are the Volume Scale and B-Scan Scale settings in the Display section of Options.

Set the required display scales before beginning analysis and leave them unchanged throughout the analysis. This matters because the manual places the warning in its software-limitations section rather than describing the controls as harmless display preferences during analysis.

If a scale must be changed, finish the current analysis first and then change it from Tools→Options. The manual does not state that changing the setting automatically invalidates existing saved data, so do not infer that behavior.
