7Line Raster initially uses a scan length of 6.0mm and a line spacing of 0.35mm. It scans seven lines passing through the center point.

7Line Raster is not the same as a single Line Scan. The scan range contains seven lines through the center point, and the system moves along those lines in steps determined by the selected resolution.

The manual also shows 7Line Raster (V) as a related pattern. Make sure the intended raster orientation is selected in the instrument body, especially when comparing scans or trying to reproduce a previous acquisition. As with the other patterns, the manual instructs the operator to move from the start point to the end point.
