What air pressure does the Bausch & Lomb Stellaris Phaco Machine require when CPX14 appears?

The answer

CPX14 means “Source pressure is low.” Increase the input pressure to 72.5 to 100 psi (5.0 bar - 6.9 bar).

CPX14 identifies low source pressure at the compressor input. The manual gives a numeric correction rather than a general instruction to check the air supply: increase input pressure to 72.5 to 100 psi, equivalent to 5.0 bar - 6.9 bar.

This range is different from the correction for CPX23, which says that source pressure is high and directs the user to decrease input pressure to 85 psi. It is also different from CPX15, which concerns the internal air pressure supply to the vacuum fluidics module and may affect the irrigation and aspiration pinch valves.

After correcting CPX14, the manual’s suggested action is to confirm the relevant function. If the warning persists after the source pressure is within the stated range, the manual directs the user to call the product service representative.
